OECD Average-Wage Benchmark
Enter an annual gross wage in the selected country's local currency. We convert it to PPP-adjusted US dollars and compare it with that country's OECD average-wage benchmark. This is a benchmark ratio, not a wage-distribution percentile or a personal tax calculation.
What does this benchmark show?
The OECD average-wage indicator reports annual pay for dependent employees across the total economy on a full-time-equivalent basis. This tool converts your local-currency entry to PPP-adjusted US dollars, then compares it with that country’s retained OECD benchmark.
- 100% means the converted wage matches the national benchmark in this comparison.
- A higher or lower result is not a wage-distribution percentile and does not calculate an individual tax return.
- For a source-bounded take-home estimate at a chosen salary and household model, use the take-home calculator.
